EPDM sponges
Closed cell EPDM (Ethylene, Propylene, Diene, Monomer) sponge is used generally for gaskets, sealing and in electrical engineering. This high-performance synthetic rubber sponge excels in demanding environmental conditions. It exhibits both high and low temperature performance (-50° to 110°C) and exceptional UV and ozone resistance. These characteristics make it ideally suited for outdoor, construction and automotive applications.
Available in sheets, blocks, rolls or as finished components, EPDM sponge rubber comes in a range of densities.
- Good electrical resistivity
- Resistant to polar solvents
- Outstanding low temperature flexibility
- Good compression set resistance
